Whether you own a large server or a small desktop server to handle your office emails , calendars or documents you have more worries than just the hardware. Free WIFI meant the cost was nothing…nothing! When I got back home there was no messing about with synchronising data or figuring out which document as up-to-date or out-of-date. Same deal with contact information and notes. Everything is done on the cloud instantly. I found it very satisfying.

So back here at home and on a day-to-day basis the benefits are very much the same. My life used to exist around Outlook. My calendar was and is my life! Without my schedule I might as well be a jellyfish flowing around with the tides. With my Android phone however my entire schedule is accessible all of the time by me, my office and my business partners. Of course you can set security levels so only those who need to see or change items can but how nice it is to make changes live without synchronising. Unfettered is good! The same goes for contact list entries and for documents too.
